Congressional Hearing To Push Transgender Confusion Upon All Americans June 25, 2008

Democrat leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives have scheduled a hearing this Thursday on discrimination against “transgendered” individuals in the workplace.

“Homosexuals and their transgender activist allies hope to use this hearing as a way of forcing the imposition of gender confusion upon all Americans,” said Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays (PFOX) Executive Director Regina Griggs today. “Instead of treating transsexualism and cross-dressing behaviors as Gender Identity Disorders (GID) as defined by the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Democrats seem determined to make these behaviors into federally-protected minorities.”

“Why should Congress force Americans to provide workplace accommodations for people who are confused about whether they’re male or female? How can Congress force us to make believe that a man is really a woman or a woman is really a man?”

“If Democrats were truly concerned about these gender confused individuals, they’d push for expanded mental health services for GID. A person can’t change his or her sex – and many of these individuals think they’re a woman one day and a man the next day. Why is Congress catering to such insanity?”

Griggs notes that citizens in Montgomery County, Maryland are requiring the government there to permit them to vote on a recently-passed transgender housing and employment policy enacted by the county board of supervisors. “This policy – if left intact – will force restrooms and shower facilities to be open to gender confused individuals. Imagine a young girl being exposed to a cross-dressing male in a restroom! This policy endangers all of us.”

Griggs urges every American to contact Congress to oppose any bill that recognizes cross-dressing behavior as a federally-protected minority group. This includes such legislation as the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) and the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act. Congress should not legislate changeable behaviors nor undermine mental health classifications set forth by the APA. Tell Congress it’s time to provide equal access for ex-gays and former transgenders — they are the living proof that change is possible.

See PFOX’s article about how and who to contact in Congress about stopping this bill.

PFOX leads the nation in providing outreach, education, and public awareness in support of families, former transgenders, and the ex-gay community.

How would you feel if your child was born intersexed, also classed as transgendered.
Is that child a male, female, or neither.
Doctors once thought Electric Shop Therapy was the only way to cure mentally ill. Even that is outdated as is the impression of GID as a mental defect.
As for the resaon, it is to protect employment rights and to base it on their work performance and abilities rather than what they are.
you my friend are a pompass ass. Evene that I would not wish even one of your children or grandchildren to be afflicted with this.

You do not know what you are talking about. Males born with XX 23rd chromosome or females with XY does make one GID. I have studied this phenomenon. The common result of this is sterility and small muscle mass for males and larger body structure for female. There are rare instances of men having enlarged breasts and other deformities. The beauty of modern medical technology and restorative therapy is that people with those rare deformative can be treat to make them normal minus being sterile. Try it, you might like it.

To use this condition to justify GID is like the rest of gay politics–lies, deception , and perversion. Like Jesus said, the truth will make you free.

“Ex-gays” are just bi-sexuals who choose to supress their same-sex attractions. “Ex-transsexuals” are just genderqueers who choose to conform to society’s sex stereotypes in accordance with their bodies.

Most transsexuals are not gender confused. Our gender is clear to us, even though it conflicts with our biological sex. Gender is hardwired in the brain before birth. It is brain sex. It does not change, and nothing can change it.

Robert L. Spitzer, M.D., who is Professor of Psychiatry and Chief of
Biometrics Research Department at the New York State Psychiatric
Institute in New York City, was also largely responsible for removing homosexuality as a mental disorder from the APA Diagnostic Manual. He once believed homosexuality was unchangeable. He has changed his mind because his research proved that assumption is not true. He concluded a APA presentation of his results this way:

I end by recalling what several subjects said spontaneously. “I have no problem accepting that most gays have no interest in changing. I wish they could also acknowledge that I have a right to change, and that I have.

FYI – in the state of Texas alone, there are an estimated 800,000 XY variants. Should we annul their marriages and deny them jobs because they were born wrong??
If you want to live in a perfect world, you will have to die to find it because it doesn’t exist!
Get a clue and learn what it is to be horribly discriminated against and blocked from having a self supporting life.
African Americans know this horrible treatment and still suffer its de-humanizing effects.
God says, “Thou shalt not bear false witness.” therefore, those who are born with the wrong brain gender have no choice but to change their body’s.
Remember, We The People ( Not we the perfect ) have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of Happiness!
If you don’t like it here, leave or get along!

If XY variants were the actual source of homosexuality, why then are not all XX males. They may be sterile but not predeterminedly gay. There are biochemists and evolutionary biologists who refute your belief based on comprehensive scientific research. Scientific studies have proven the gay gene-brain-hormonally influenced claims as false.

It is you who accuse falsely. I do understand what it is like being treated horribly or having a fulfilled life blocked. That does not justify wrong behavior; in my case, lots of anger. It was my behavior that helped the other to block my own life and at least enjoying it more. The lie is born-that-way. The lie-is-once controlled by anger, sexual impulses, alcohol, or anything else always a angry moron, gay, alcoholic, etc. I suspect the reason many gays are not true-blue one-man and no-woman or other object of sex is because it not really just about being gay.
